Windows 7 improved the ad hoc wireless shared network

New semester put on Win 7, found that this thing is better than Vista when sharing wireless in the dormitory, here to introduce to you.
Application Scenario:
When our school provides us with a network, we will give each of us a network port. When we use the school's network port to access the Internet, we must first turn to a web-certified webpage. After authentication, we can go online. Of course, it will start to deduct money. Everyone deducts money and does not say it. It also limits online time every month. Of course we don't like it. So we began to study how to share the network, so that one person deducts money, everyone together. Wait until the time limit is changed to another account. Now the dual network card (wired + wireless) of the laptop and the wireless network card support ad hoc make it easier for us to share the network.

Implementation principle:
In fact, the implementation principle of this thing is very simple, is NAT (network address translation). After the wired network is connected to the Internet, the wired network card obtains an address that can be accessed from the upper-level network device. Create an ad hoc wirelessly. This ad hoc forms a private (address) network. The computers in this network use private addresses. These private addresses are converted into the address of the wired network card after being shared, and then the Internet (of course, the corresponding port). The principle of NAT is not much to say here, mainly about how the book is shared wirelessly.

Share the network on Vista's books:
1. Connect the wired network to the Internet first, and ensure that the <tcp/ip attribute> in the wireless network card<properties> is automatically obtained.
2. Check that the hardware switch of the wireless network card is open and not connected to any network.
3. In the <Share> tab of the Wired Network Card<Properties>, <Allow other network users to connect via this computer's Internet connection>Check if there are multiple network cards Selected as a wireless network card (the virtual machine may have a virtual network card).
4. Double-click the icon of the wireless network card, click <Set Connection or Network> Select <Set Wireless Temporary (Computer to Computer) Network>, which is ad hoc, and then fill in a ssid in the pop-up dialog box. And set the security information on it.
At this point, Vista will set a 192.168.0.1/24 address for the wireless network card and will open a simple DHCP.
5. Enjoy sharing the computer is the clients computer, just set the wireless address to automatically get, then connect to ad hoc, clIEnts can be Vista, xp, Win7 and so on.
Note: I am here as a shared computer and the shared computer is intel wireless network card can guarantee to automatically obtain the address, other network cards may have to manually fill in the address.
Insufficient:
1. As can be seen from the above description, the setting is still more troublesome.
2. The wireless network card's 192.168.0.1/24 is fixed. If I want to use wireless to access other networks, I must modify the address to automatically obtain or address other network requirements.
3. I modified the wireless network card address to access other networks, if you share the network again. Lightly change the address back to 192.168.0.1/24, and then repeat the above steps 1-4.

Windows 7 improvements to this:
1. In Windows 7, as long as the cable is connected to the Internet, the wireless network card automatically obtains the address and the hardware is turned on, directly run the wizard to establish ad hoc. .
Wizard will automatically prompt you to share your Internet, no need for cumbersome settings.
2. Relative to Vista's use of 192.168.0.1/24 network, Win7 should be a random network, for example, my is 192.168.137.1/24. This avoids conflicts with some old-fashioned home routers.
3.share network address is not saved, you can connect to other networks without any settings after you close the share, you must share it with others and just set up ad hoc and click the button.

Remember that on April 25, when asuka spoke win7 in the Microsoft office, there were more brothers with computers and fewer network cables. If someone installed Win7 at that time, everyone could go online. This is more suitable for everyone to share the Internet when the wired port is small, it is also more suitable for our students to save money online!嘿嘿~~

The following attachment is the 32-bit bootsect.exe file, no one can download it!
Note: The above installation logic is not my original, I just searched all relevant information and sorted out a set. My logical installation method!
