This is a box that integrates many elements. It is called a window. Windows are versatile, and the basic elements of most windows are the same.

The window, especially the Explorer window, has always been an important tool we use to interact with files on the computer. In Win7, several major improvements to the window make it easier to manage and search for files. It also makes our previous Windows XP resource manager organically integrated, any window open to support search at any time, support specific file management. It also makes the window more powerful.

1. Simple understanding of the structure of the window

Before operating the window, let's briefly understand the basic composition of the window. The following image shows the Computer window that appears when you open Computer on your desktop. We use him as an example to understand the window.

At first glance, the window in Win7 does not seem to change much, except for the "disappearance" we mentioned above The menu bar, however, if you look closely, you will notice the fundamental changes brought about by the new window. Let us introduce it in detail below.

In the upper left corner of the window, it is a striking "forward" and "back" button, which is more like the previous settings in the browser - and the down arrow next to it is given separately The history of the browsing or the possible heading; the path box on the right side not only gives the current directory location, but each item can be clicked to help the user directly locate the corresponding level, while in the upper right corner of the window, A powerful search box where you can enter any search term you want to query.

In other tool panels, it can be regarded as a new form of menu. The standard configuration includes many options such as “Organization”. The “Organization” item is used to set and operate accordingly. Other options are based on the file. Different specific tools will appear in the tool panel. For example, when browsing the recycle bin, the option of “empty recycle bin” and “restore project” will appear; when browsing the image catalog, “ The option to show slides; when you browse the music or video file directory, the corresponding play button will appear.

The left panel of the main window consists of two parts. The top is the bookmark link, such as documents, pictures, etc., and below it is the tree directory list. It is worth mentioning that in the directory list panel. The displayed content is automatically clustered so that you don't have to haul the slider to see the specific name when browsing long or multi-level directories. In addition, the directory list panel can be collapsed and hidden, while the Favorites Link panel cannot be hidden.
