Windows 7 Application Tutorial: Win7 Address Bar and Search Bar

First we look at the address bar. In Win7, the address bar is a reserved item in the previous Windows version window, but it has been greatly improved to make us more Conveniently, in the new window address bar, we can not only know the specific settings of the current open folder name, path, and specific content. We can also open the corresponding content by entering the address or network address of the local hard disk in the address bar.

In the address bar of Win7. Added the concept of "button", for example, we open a folder in the window, such as: C:\\WINDOWS\\SYSTEM32 This folder, in the address bar, we can see that the path is very clear. Computer > Local Disk (C:) > Windows > SYSTEM32

But we will find it after we move the mouse over this path. In fact, each step in the entire path can be individually clicked, and the black right arrow can be followed to open a sub-menu that displays all the sub-folders saved in the folder corresponding to the current step button.

For example, we are currently in the C:\\Windows\\SYSTEM32 file, see the picture below.

We clicked the black right arrow after the computer, showing that the current computer defaults to the local disk C disk black, but we can also access the other two disk local disk D And E disk. Of course, the other steps are the same. For example, we are currently in the C:\\WINDOWS\\SYSTEM32 folder. And we will want to go directly to the D drive. Then we can directly click on the black right arrow behind the computer, directly select the local disk (D:) in the following menu to jump directly to the D drive. It doesn't have to be the same as the previous version of Windows. Close this window and then go to the computer to find the D drive and turn it back on or back to the computer and open the D drive again.

Of course, in the current example. Other steps, like we want to go to other directories under WINDOWS, instead of going to SYSTEM32. Then we click on the black right arrow after Windows and select the name of the directory we want to go to.

Understanding the address bar, we understand the search bar. Microsoft has set up search functions in many places in Win7. It can be said that the search is everywhere, as in the search bar in the upper right corner of the window as shown. All search bars have a dynamic search function, which means that when we enter a part of the keyword, the search has already begun. As the number of keywords entered increases, the results of the search are filtered repeatedly until we search for the content we need.

With time, we will have this feeling, WIN7 is the network. The network is Win7, because it is too convenient. We can search for local documents or URLs anytime, anywhere to view and search to quickly find what we need.
