Start Menu: Stores the operating system or sets most of the system's commands, and can also use all the programs installed in the current system.

The Start Menu and Start button are the basic parts of the Microsoft Windows family of operating system graphical user interfaces (GUIs) and can be referred to as the central control area of ​​the operating system. By default, the start button is located at the bottom left of the screen and the start button is a round Windows logo.

The word "Start" is no longer visible from Win7. The mouse will stop and the prompt text "Start" will appear. Click on it or press the Windows key or press the key combination Ctrl+Esc to activate the start menu.

The traditional Start Menu includes a self-developed "Programs" menu for running programs, a "Documents" menu for recently used documents, a menu for finding documents and help, and a menu for system setup. . Add a search column to Win7.

First, know Win7's "Start" menu

"Start" menu can be understood as WINDOWS navigation controller, here you can achieve all the functions of WINDOWS, as long as you master the WINDOWS start menu Using Windows will be easy.

The "Start" menu is divided into four parts in Win7, as shown in the figure:


The top left area is the common menu history menu of the start menu, Win7 The most commonly used software will be automatically displayed according to the frequency of your use of the software.

The upper right corner of the second area is used to set the function area for the common system of WIN7. The system functions frequently used by WIN7 are: control panel settings, etc. In the top of the second area, there is an Administrator option, which is actually your system user name and user picture area. For the convenience of identification, we have placed it in the second area. Administrator is Win7's default system administrator user name. Of course, we can also create a new user name. Other names can be used to make Chinese or English. This will be learned in the future.

The third area in the lower left corner starts the navigation control program and the program and file search box for all the programs in the start menu. We perform our file and program navigation operations through all the program navigation control programs.

The fourth area in the lower right corner is our switch control area

In the above picture, we see a circular WIN window icon button mark in the lower left corner of the system desktop. That is our Win7 start menu button. Click on the Start menu button and we will see the Start menu shown above.
