Many softwares have built-in file encryption function, which can meet our daily needs. a, Office file formats

4, WPS file

WPS file encryption is very simple, just click the "File" menu → "Save As ..." dialog box, check the "file encryption" check The box will pop up the "Set Password" dialog box. First enter the password in the text box, then select the encryption type, where "normal encryption" is suitable for most situations, and "top secret encryption" is suitable for situations with high security requirements. 1, Winzip

It is preferred to create a new blank compressed file and add the compressed file to the compressed file. Click the “Password....” command in the “Option” menu to pop up the password setting window and enter the set password in the text box. III, Windows 2000/XP Encryption

Win2000/XP provides the function of encrypting folders, of course we can use it to protect files. Before using the encryption provided by the system, you need to confirm that the partition of the folder you want to encrypt is in NTFS format, because this function can only be used under NTFS.

(1) to be selected to set the encryption attribute of a file or folder using the Windows 2000 Resource Manager.

(2) Click the right mouse button and select "Properties" to launch the "Windows 2000 Properties" dialog window.

(3) Click the [Advanced] button in the "General" tab to launch the "Advanced Properties" dialog box.

(4) Select the "Encrypt content to protect data" check box in the "Compress or Encryption Properties" box, click the [OK] button to complete the encryption of the file or folder.
