丫丫 Recently, I have a lot of bitter water to the bean. After installing a certain software, it will run automatically every time I start the computer. Like the "follow-up", I am annoyed and almost reloaded with anger. The system is out! How to prevent these programs from running automatically?

To release such software is automatically loaded into the program startup items at the time of installation, we can generally (System Configuration Utility) by modifying the registry or Msconfig to close the program from the start. Modifying the registry is a bit more difficult and risky, not suitable for beginners. Let's take a look at how to set the startup item in Msconfig.

First, run Msconfig

1.Windows 9X/Me/XP

In Windows 9X/Me/XP system, you can click "Start → Run", in Enter "Msconfig" in the run box (do not enter double quotes, the same below) to determine the run, select the "Start" tab in the open system configuration utility window, you can see a lot of startup projects.

2.Windows 2000

While Windows 2000 is disabled, we can borrow the Windows XP Msconfig file by "borrowing". Msconfig in the C:\\Windows\\PCHEALTH\\HELPCTR\\BinarIEs directory can be copied to the Windows 2000 directory.

Third, set the startup items

everyone Msconfig have a basic understanding of it! Now we can ban the program we want to disable. First find the startup item you want to disable in the startup item, then click the left mouse button in the box in front of it to make the small hook in the box be removed, then click the "Apply" button at the bottom of the System Configuration Utility window. That's it. For example, after installing QQ, you will find that the QQ login window will pop up every time you restart the computer. If you want to disable it from running automatically after the system is started, find the Tencent QQ under the “Startup” tab in the Msconfig window. Click the box in the "Start Project" column, remove the check box, and then press "OK" to exit. QQ will not run automatically after restarting the computer.
