Fix the problem that Windows 7 Favorites can't be expanded

The "Favorites" on the left side of Win7's Explorer provides the equivalent of "Shortcut".

Today, my Windows 7 has encountered a minor problem. The Explorer's "Favorites" cannot be expanded, but both "Library" and "Computer" are fine. But click on "Favorites" to go to the "Favorites" folder, the shortcuts inside are not lost. I tried to right click on "Favorites" and selecting the "Restore Favorites" link has no effect. In other words, some reasons have caused the Windows 7 Explorer's "Favorites" to fail.

After searching for a long time, I didn't find the answer, so I used English as a keyword to search. After several links and jumped, I finally found the answer.

Win7 Favorites can not be expanded solution:

In the "Vistax64" forum, some users posted Vista's favorites are cleared and the Explorer's "Favorites" cannot be expanded. The solution to the problem, one of the methods to modify the registry has been tested and validated, share as follows:

1. Run regedit

2. Expand to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\\lnkfile

3 , add a string value: IsShortcut, do not need to fill in the string value, press Enter

4, re-login
