Dual system issues with Windows 7 and other Windows

Installing Windows 7 RC and other Microsoft Windows to form a dual system (of course, "main" has "deputy": the "sub" is naturally Windows7RC). There are two reasons for this: 1. "RC" is a crucial candidate release, and the system functions have been basically fixed (from the RC version test to the official release, mainly minor corrections to make it perfect); It is conducive to enhancing the familiarity, research and mastery of the new generation of operating systems, and can achieve a smooth transition when the official version is released.

First, Windows 7RC is available in 32-bit (x86) and 64-bit (x64) versions. I have always recommended to install the 32-bit version, mainly considering compatibility with commonly used software: at least in the current and future period, the 32-bit version is definitely better than the 64-bit version. Please also note that even if you choose a 64-bit version, you must have a 64-bit CPU configuration on your computer.

Second, Microsoft officially has publicly stated that in addition to the recently released Windows7RC "five-language version", the Chinese version will not be available for public download in the near future. But I provided a 32-bit Chinese version (only 2K less) that is very close to Microsoft's official Chinese version (which is being tested in a very small range). The English original + Chinese package is exactly the same as the 32-bit Chinese version.

Third, based on the current Microsoft Windows (such as: XP, Vista, Server 2008), the easy way to install Windows 7RC is to use a virtual drive to load the CD image. The installation process is identical to the CD installation except that there is no "Format" option. However, it should be noted that a 64-bit system cannot be installed with a virtual optical drive on a 32-bit system.

Fourth, the English version of the original + Chinese package provided by the author, and the Chinese version which is very close to the official internal test, there is absolutely no system interface except for "help" and very few places or English without "Chinese". "Garbled." As long as the settings in the "Control Panel /Area and Language" are correct, the interface of the commonly used software is also not garbled (except for incompatible ones).

The fifth, Windows7RC comes with drivers that support mainstream hardware (such as graphics cards, sound cards, network cards). In most cases, there is no need to go to the relevant website to find it. However, there are a few exceptions to everything. The most reliable way for the system to support it is to search for the driver that matches the system and matches the hardware.

Sixth, about Windows7RC "installation essential software", I have provided it on the basis of careful screening and personal practice (including download address and perfect registration). As for other commonly used software based on this, many enthusiastic users also use their own practice to share and share in the message. In fact, Windows 7RC has system prompts for currently incompatible software.

The seventh is to install and run the dual system. There is also a benefit: it is easy to accurately judge and deal with the abnormal operation of the system. With the author's many years of practical experience, if the system operation abnormal phenomenon occurs in two systems at the same time, then it must be on the hardware; if the system operation abnormal phenomenon only occurs in one system, then it is necessary to find the reason in this system and software.

The eighth, uninstalling Windows 7 is very easy, just three steps (take XP/Windows7 as an example): 1. The right mouse button /Windows 7 disk /drop-down "Format" /Confirm, you can complete the 99% system file uninstall. 2. In safe mode, delete the Boot folder of the C drive root directory. 3. Modify the contents of the boot.ini file in the root directory of the C drive to the single system state.
