Windows 7 Startup and Acceleration and Repair Startup Errors

The operation of the system more efficiently without the need to upgrade the hardware can be said to be what we all expect. Although the Windows 7 system is still in the testing stage, due to the gorgeous features such as the gorgeous interface and the super taskbar, it has been installed in many users' computers and even become the main system. This gives us more reasons to optimize Windows 7.

Simple optimization Windows 7 system startup and speed up
Windows7 system startup speed has been improved, but with the installation of software and games, the system startup speed is gradually slower. In order to speed up the system, you don't need to use third-party software, you can do it through the system's own tools.
Click the "Start" button and enter "msconfig" in the search bar below (Figure 1), press the Enter key to enter the main window of the system configuration tool, then click the "Startup" tab , click "Advanced Options" in the subsequent interface. I believe that the dual-core multi-core processor has become the standard configuration, so that the system can achieve dual-core "specification" to achieve a quick start.

Check the "Number of Processors" at the top and select the number of processors in the drop-down menu (Figure 2). The default number is 1. After the modification is completed, click OK to save the configuration. After starting the computer, you can enter the system in less time. Note: The above method is also applicable to the Vista system.

We know that the system may be the most "powerless" when it first enters the system. This is because many programs will start automatically at boot time, which undoubtedly increases the burden on the system. After opening the email or webpage after the system, you must endure the slow system speed when starting the program. Its utility system configuration tool can also solve this problem, go to the "Enable" tab, remove the check status that does not need to start the program (Figure 3), or click "Disable All", click OK to save The system can start working quickly after startup.

Tip: Fixing the 7507 version of the boot error

Microsoft Windows 7 Build 7057 is a relatively new and stable version, but every time the version is installed, it will be restarted. After that, a configuration file will be automatically opened (as shown in Figure 4). Although it is harmless, it affects the mood. It is not difficult to fix this error. After opening the resource management, go to the "C:\\PRogramData\\Microsoft\\Windows\\Start Menu\\Programs\\Startup" directory and delete the configuration file named Desktop.ini in the directory. Next, go to the C:\\Users\\ (current user name)\\AppData\\Roaming\\Microsoft\\Windows\\Start Menu\\Programs\\Startup directory, also delete the file named Desktop.ini, restart the annoying window. Will appear.

Extensions: Do you want some programs or files to be automatically executed or opened at boot time? Copy the file or shortcut to the above two directories.

Change open/save default location

There is no need to open various software when using the computer, but the use of software will inevitably involve multiple files, whether it is to open the file or save the modified location. Go to open or save dialogs, such as browser downloads or the saving of Office documents. The fly in the ointment is that these save or open positions may be inconsistent with their own habits. Let's modify these default locations to make the operation faster.

There are two ways to modify the default location, first introduce the first method.

When opening or saving a file, move the mouse over the "Favorites" on the left, click the right mouse button and select "Add the location in the browser to the Favorites" (Figure 6). This will allow you to quickly add the default location, which will also be preserved when you use the Open/Save dialog again. It is also very simple to sort, just drag the shortcuts in the favorites directly with the mouse.

The newly added location can also be deleted in the right-click menu. Right-click on the location you want to delete and select "Uninstall". The default location can also be uninstalled or changed to another location. Right click on the location you want to modify and select "Properties". When viewing the properties, you can modify the target, which is the corresponding local folder directory. And you can also change to other icons.

The second method, you can also use the system's Group Policy Editor to add more locations, click the start button and type "gpedit.msc" and press Enter (Figure 7), then enter "User Configuration - Administrative Templates - Windows Components - Windows Explorer - Common Open File Dialog", double-click on "Items Displayed in Places Bar" on the right side, and you will enter the configuration interface. After selecting "Enable", you can add 5 arbitrary common positions below (Figure 8).

Although the article has come to an end here, there are many optimization techniques for Windows7 system, and the latest compiled version of Windows7 is also more and more (currently there is build 7068 version download) )
