Currently dual-core CPUs are prevalent in the IT world, and Windows 7 also has good support for multi-core CPUs, but it may not be able to play the performance of multi-core CPUs during startup. Use the following methods to set up computers with Windows 7 system. Better use of dual-core and multi-core CPUs can greatly increase the startup speed of the system.

Step 1: Click the Start button, enter Msconfig in the search program and file input box of the Start menu and press Enter to open the System Configuration dialog box.

Step 2: Switch to the Boot Options tab and click the Advanced button to bring up the Boot Advanced Options dialog.

Step 3: Check the number of processors in the dialog box, select the number of processors in the drop-down menu, for example, select 2 for dual core, and check the maximum memory option, then click OK to return to restart the computer. Just fine.
