Open the program to resolve the compatibility problem

Most programs written for Windows Vista can also run on this version of Windows, but some older versions of the program may not work properly or not at all. If the older version of the program does not work properly, use the Program Compatibility Troubleshooter to simulate the behavior of earlier versions of Windows.
Note
To ensure the latest troubleshooting from the Windows Online Troubleshooting service, your computer should be connected to the Internet. For more information, see Windows Troubleshooting.
Open the "Program Compatibility Troubleshooter" by clicking the "Start" button and then clicking "Control Panel". In the search box, type troubleshooting and then click Troubleshoot. Under Programs, click Run a program written for a previous version of Windows.
