Win8.1 implements F8 to enter safe mode. Method

Friends who have used Win8 know that because Windows 8.1 uses a hybrid mode of quick start, it is impossible to use F8 to enter safe mode, but we can turn off the quick start function, otherwise it will not be realized. The old version of F8 enters the safe mode function.
To achieve a quick start, you can do the following:
1. Press the [Win]+[X] shortcut;
2. In the shortcut menu that appears, select “Power Options” ;
3. Click “Select the function of the power button"options;
4. Click “change the currently unavailable settings"item;
5. Cancel the quick start and save at the bottom of the interface can.
After turning off the quick start, press the [Win]+[X] shortcut key and select the “Command Prompt (Administrator)” option in the shortcut menu. In the English state, enter “ldcd;bcdedit /set {default] } bootmenupolicy legacy” and enter.

The prompt "Operation completed successfully" indicates that your setup was successful. Restart the computer and quickly press the F8 key when booting to see if the traditional “Safe Mode” option appears.
