Take a look at the "8" experience Windows8 video playback!

Have you encountered such a problem with Win8, where did the Win8 video player go? It seems that there has been no glimpse before, is it also gorgeously "hey crab"? Don't worry, let's look for it first.

1. Is Local Play or Media Player?

In the past, audio and video files were unified by Windows Media Player. However, in Win8, video and audio are separately divided into two applications, Video and Music. If we double-click on a video file in Win8, it will automatically activate the “Video” application.

“Video” is a typical Metro application, so the button is designed to be very "great". The three large buttons represent back, pause/play, and advance, while the bottom is the same size and progress bar. I tried it, and the size and position of the icon just let the finger run freely, and I can't help but admire Microsoft's good intentions.

Although the big buttons are cool, it is much more laborious to move the mouse. Is there a traditional interface designed for the mouse and keyboard? Don't say, it's really there! The method is to right click on the screen. Compared with the previous touch screen version, the traditional version of the icon is smaller, the spacing is narrower, and it is more in line with the operating habits of ordinary users.

Drag and drop progress bar can adjust the playback progress, but there is no live video preview, just a simple time reminder.

2. Can I still watch online movies?

Compared to traditional Windows Media Player, another feature of "Video" is support for online video playback. Yes, you are not mistaken! It is a movie like PPTV and popular online. Just like most apps in the app store, online movies are paid for.

The entire interface is very similar to another international design. Microsoft has classified it as the focus, collection, movie market, and TV market. For which one is interested, click directly to the corresponding "Show more" ;
