How is group policy restricted? What should I do if Win8.1 cannot run the group policy?

The gpedit.msc command is the most common way we open Group Policy, but for some unknown reason, Group Policy is blocked or disabled, and Group Policy cannot be opened. The reasons I know are two, one is the loss of the gpedit.msc file, and the other is that the Group Policy settings are blocked by third-party tools.

steps:

1, the need to note is that, for the core version of Win8.1 system does not provide & ldquo; the Group Policy Editor & rdquo; program. We can check if there is a <quo;gpedit.msc” program in your computer by the following method:

2. Open the “Run” dialog box (press Win+R to open) and enter “ldquo;%” SystemRoot%\\system32” and press Enter;

3. Enter the directory to find out if there is a <quo;gpedit.msc” file. As shown in the figure, if the file is not found, you can find a computer with the same operating system and copy the file to the location. If the file exists, just double-click it to open it;

4. Another situation is that Group Policy cannot be opened due to system limitations. For this we can use the "Big to USB Control" software to fix it. Search directly in Baidu & ldquo; big trend to USB monitoring & rdquo; software, select any address to download;

5, install and run the program, in the main interface, check "set group policy" ;

6, then clear the check box to "disable group policy", then try to open "ldquo; group policy";

7, last click & ldquo; exit software & rdquo ; or & ldquo; background running & rdquo; button, close the program window.

If a third-party tool blocks Group Policy, we can simply open the relevant settings and then unlock the group policy. However, if it involves system file loss, it is not difficult to solve. It is difficult to find the cause of the loss. I suggest that users close all programs before shutting down, and use forced shutdown. The few seconds of shutdown are actually very fast.
