Open the IE11 Enterprise Mode tutorial in Win8.1 Update

  
        Windows 8.1 2014 Update is now the focus, and IT Home offers a new enterprise model that will allow companies to specify certain websites to run in IE8 compatibility mode, so consider upgrading IE to enjoy the latest security and speed features and standards support. However, IE11 does not enable enterprise mode by default. The following will introduce to IT home readers how to open new features and experience a new enterprise model.
Step 1. Right click on the Start menu and click Run. Type gpedit.msc to open the Group Policy Editor.



Step 2. Select Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Internet Explorer and double-click "Let users turn on and use Enterprise Mode" on the right. Select "Enabled". Click on "Apply" to apply the configuration.







Step 3. Open the IE11 browser, click ALT to temporarily enable the menu bar, and then select Tools -> Enterprise Mode. Enable enterprise mode.



Tips: IT home and other forum posts/postbacks can not display the edit box can be solved by enabling the enterprise mode.
