How to reset all Win10/Win8.1/Win7 folder views

We may have different requirements for how the files in different folders are displayed. For example, the image folder may be displayed in a large icon, and the document should be displayed in a detailed manner for easy query. However, as the system usage time becomes longer, some display methods may not be satisfactory. The same folder view can be reset by the folder option, but it is troublesome to modify one by one. So, resetting the folder view all the time may be a good way to solve this problem.

Windows itself does not have a reset button. To achieve this, you need to modify the registry. However, before the modification, it is best to back up the registry first, so as to avoid unnecessary troubles caused by misuse. The specific steps are as follows:
1, in the start menu search bar or run regedit, press Enter, open the registry editor
2, navigate to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Classes\\Local Settings\\ Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\Shell

3. Delete the Bags item
4, and then navigate to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\Shell

5. Also delete the Bags item.
6, finally positioned to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\ShellNoRoam

7, or delete the Bags item (if it exists)
8, restart the file manager explorer.exe, available The "Quick Command" implementation of the soft media cubes. At this point, the folder view in the system has been restored to the initial state. To restore the state before the modification, restore the previously backed up registry.
