What if win8 can't connect to the wireless network?

If you can't connect to the wireless network, first try to update the driver of the wireless device. See How Win8 finds hardware drivers
.

Make sure your wireless router is set up correctly. See instructions for setting up your wireless router.

If you still can't connect, make sure the wireless connection is turned on:

1. On the start screen, tap or click Control Panel.

2. In the left pane, tap or click Wireless.

3. In the right pane, verify that Airplane Mode is off and Wireless Device is turned on.

4. Slide in from the right or point your mouse at the bottom right or top right corner of the screen to open the Settings personality category.

5. Tap or click the network connection icon, which looks like a monitor with a network cable (for wired connections) or a collection with five bars (for wireless connections).

6. Under the list of wireless networks, select your network and enter the required login or credential information to connect to the network.
