Enable Win 8 Quick Start, let the system achieve second open

        Friends who have already used Windows 8 may find that compared to Windows XP and Windows 7, Win8 system boot speed can be opened in seconds. Is there any secret here? If your Win8 system is still slow as a snail, look at this article, maybe just a simple option.

Some people may say that using some optimization software, or disabling some startup add-ons, can not speed up the system startup speed! In fact, this is only a part of it, and it cannot fundamentally change the loading of system files. It may take a lot of time to complete a startup process.

This is because the previous system boot is built on the BIOS. The BIOS often takes a while to warm up before booting. Therefore, the computer configured with the BIOS will take a lot of time to boot. After the 64-bit system came out, BiOS has not kept pace with the times. A new type of bootloading has emerged - UEFI, the full name "UnifIEd Extensible Firmware Interface", which is a detailed description of the new The standard for type interfaces. This interface is used by the operating system to automatically load from the pre-launched operating environment, which makes the booting process simple and saves time.

In the Windows 8 system, Microsoft used the boot mode of UEFI load startup, which greatly simplified the check-up steps before booting, thus speeding up the boot process.

In terms of system file loading, Microsoft Windows 8 uses a hybrid boot technology during system loading. This technology stores the data of the system kernel in memory in the form of a mirror and starts it next time. In the system, this part of the mirrored data is reloaded into the memory to reduce the load of data at the time of system startup, and achieve the purpose of quick start.

With this in mind, we probably understand why the Windows 8 system boot time is second. But this may require some hardware (motherboard) support and a setting in the Win8 system. Regarding the hardware part, I won't talk about it here. The next step is to tell everyone that there is an option to turn the quick start on or off in the Windows 8 system.

1. In the system tray under the system desktop, click the “Battery” icon in the lower right corner and select “More Power Options”;

2. Click on the left side "Select the function of the power button";

▲Click "Select the function of the power button"

3. Click "Change the currently unavailable settings";

Everyone is below As you can see in the "Shutdown Settings" option, the following options are grayed out by default. In fact, clicking "Change the currently unavailable settings" means that the gray is not optional. If "Enable Quick Start" itself is already It is checked, this step is not necessary. The main reason here is that the option may not be turned on.

▲Change the currently unavailable settings

4. Turn on the "Enable Quick Start (Recommended)" option.

The system is enabled by default and can be ignored. If this option is enabled, the system will still start very slowly and only find other reasons.

▲ Check the "Enable Quick Start" option

It should be noted that the quick start setting is not equivalent to "restart", for example, if you have installed a system update and need to restart the system. Software, etc. Therefore, the quick start here refers to the boot after normal shutdown, and Windows saves the system information to a file when it is shut down to achieve a quick start. When you start your computer again, Windows uses the system information to recover your computer instead of restarting it.

By default, Quick Launch is enabled in Windows 8.
