& ldquo; Start & rdquo; The screen is the core of the computer, you can customize it as you want. You can pin your most used and favorite apps, websites, friends, files, and folders to the "Start" screen so you can quickly access them. If you've used an earlier version of Windows, you can think of the “start” screen as your previous “start” menu, but the "start” screen will display more content.

“Start”Some of the tiles on the screen will be updated automatically, allowing you to see the weather and friend status updates at a glance. You don't need to open the app to get the information you're looking for.

Mobile Tiles

You can choose the most efficient way to arrange “start” on-screen tiles - put similar tiles together and group all your favorites Or create a "work" group for an application for work. To move the tile, drag it up or down and drag it to the desired location.

Creating a new tile group

You can create a new tile group by dragging a tile to a blank area. When the gray bar appears, release the tile - this will create a new group, and you can drag more tiles into the group.

After you group the tiles together, you can name the group. The operation method is as follows:

1. Touch the “Start” screen with two or more fingers, and then close the finger to zoom out. (Or, if you are using a mouse, click “Zoom” in the lower right corner of the screen.) 2. Swipe down or right click on the tile group to select it, then click or click “ Group”.

Resizing the tile

You can zoom in or out on the tile. To do this, swipe down or right-click on the tile to select it, then click or click “Zoom in ” or “Zoom out”. (Note that some tiles cannot be resized.)

Deleting Tiles

To remove tiles from the “Start” screen, swipe down or right Click the tile to select it, then click or click “Start & rsquo;Start & rsquo;Screen Unpin “. (The app is still available when you perform a search. If you decide you want to put the app back to the "start” screen, you can re-attach the app later.) To uninstall an app and remove it from your computer , click or click “Uninstall”. The app will no longer be available when you perform a search, and you will have to reinstall it if you wish to restore it. Some tiles cannot be uninstalled.

Change the color of the “Start” screen

You can change the background and color of the &Startquo;start”screen. The background is only displayed on the "Start" screen, but the colors you pick will also be displayed in other locations, such as the charms and login screens.

Here's how:

1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, click “Set”, then click “Change PC Settings”. (If using the mouse, point to the top right corner of the screen, then move the pointer down, click “Set”, then click “Change PC Settings 

2.Click or click “Personalization", then click or click “‘Start & rsquo;Screen”.

3. Choose your favorite color and background combination.

You can view the changes immediately, so you can check the desired number of backgrounds and colors before you can make a change.

Change your lock screen

You can also personalize your lock screen with your favorite photos. Here's how:

1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, click “Set”, then click “Change PC Settings”. (If using the mouse, point to the top right corner of the screen, then move the pointer down, click “Set”, then click “Change PC Settings 

2.Click or click  quo;Personalization", then click or click “lock screen”.

3. Select an existing picture, or click or click "Browse" to search for images on your computer.

You can also add apps to your lock screen to get updates when your computer is locked. For example, you can add the “calendar" application to see at a glance if you have an upcoming date, or add the “mail” app to see if you receive new mail.
