Windows 8 adjusts the size of the Recycle Bin

Sometimes we don't pay attention to deleting some useful things, and just because of the size of the recycle bin, the deleted files are directly deleted permanently without going through the recycle bin. If you encounter a deleted file that is larger than the Recycle Bin maximum file limit, you will see the following message when you delete the file.

Imagine half a day spent a lot of time to download the file was inadvertently deleted, that is how sad reminder of things. So how do we avoid such cups? The answer is to modify the recycle bin size.

Each drive letter has a recycle bin, and the size of the recycle bins between different drive letters does not affect each other. You need to limit the Recycle Bin according to the drive letter of the file you want to delete to achieve the correct setting. Right-click the recycle bin icon on the desktop and select the property. Enter the maximum value you want to set at the custom size. When the deleted file size does not exceed the maximum value you set, the deleted file will be placed in the recycle bin. It is permanently deleted because the file exceeds the limit. In addition, the delete confirmation dialog is turned off by default in Windows 8. You can also enable this option to give a delete prompt when deleting files.
