How to upgrade XP to Win8 operating system

  
                  

Recently, Microsoft revealed details of the upgrade of Windows 8. All Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 users can upgrade to Win8, but there are some restrictions. For example, XP system must have SP3 installed to upgrade.

Windows8 system as follows:

1, using Windows 7 Starter Edition (Starter), Home Basic (Home Basic), Home Premium (Home Premium) users can upgrade Up to Windows 8 Normal Edition and retain existing system settings, personal files and applications.

2. Users with Windows 7 Starter Edition, Home Basic, Home Premium, Professional (Professional) can upgrade to Windows 8 Pro Professional and retain existing system settings, personal files and application.

3. Users with Windows 7 Professional and Enterprise can upgrade to Windows 8 Enterprise Enterprise and retain existing system settings, personal files, and applications.

4. Users using Windows Vista (without SP1 installed) can upgrade to Windows 8, but can only retain personal data; if you upgrade from Vista SP1, you can retain your personal data and system settings.

5. Users with Windows XP SP3 can upgrade to Windows 8, but can only keep personal data.

Of course, there are restrictions on Win8, and Microsoft does not allow users to upgrade across architectures. For example, 32-bit Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7 can only be upgraded to 32-bit Windows 8. When users are doing cross-language installations, they cannot retain system settings and applications, but personal data is not lost. Windows 8 is expected to be available in October, and users can prepare for updates in advance.
