Windows 8 always displays case lock and number lock icons on the desktop

  
                  Notebooks without the Caps Lock and Num Lock lights display a case lock and a number lock icon on the desktop when switching. Figure: Solution: 1. Right click on the blank space on the desktop and select “Screen Resolution” in the pop-up menu. As shown below: 2. In the pop-up window, click the “Advanced Settings” button in the lower right corner. As shown below: 3, select “ screen display & rdquo; tab. As shown in the following figure: 4. In this tab, you can see a “number lock and case lock indicator setting”, and you can freely select whether the uppercase and lowercase icons are always displayed on the screen. As shown in the figure below: In models with uppercase and lowercase keystrokes, <;On Screen Display", there is no "digital lock and case lock indicator setting” option.
