How to install Windows 8 on a USB flash drive with UEFI motherboard

Maybe many users will have the same problem as the kid, that is, the new platform UEFI, the computer larger than 2T hard disk, the computer without optical drive, the UEFI motherboard does not have the Shell.efi command, how can this be good?

When this happens, don't worry. Kid found a solution, the specific operation is as follows

1. Format the U disk as FAT16/32 partition (EFI can only recognize FAT16 32), then create efimicrosoftboot folder copy installation disk BCD into efi BOOT copy Install the bootx64.efi disk into the sources folder, copy the installation disk sources folder boot.wim into the boot folder, copy the installation disk boot.sd.

2. Download the attachments bootmgfw.efi and Shell.efi provided by Kid to the root directory.

3. Enter the UEFI BIOS, select the UEFI U disk to boot, enter the PE repair computer, advanced tools - command prompt - find the hard disk WIN8 installation file directory into the sources-setup installation (provided the hard disk has been converted to GPT format ).

Well, through the above steps, we will be able to successfully install and boot the Windows 8 system through UEFI, which is very convenient.
