Some time ago, Microsoft Windows 8 Professional and Enterprise Editions were downloaded by users, but for the maintenance of Windows 8 system, it is a problem for many users. Let's take a look at the solution.

First, clean up the Windows.old folder

Open the disk cleanup, there are two ways to open the disk cleanup:

1, right-click on the disk that needs to be cleaned up, Select the attribute, there is a pie chart showing the disk space in the pop-up tab, there should be disk cleaning in the lower right corner of this pie chart;

2. If the disk cleaning user is not found, please open it. Control panel, click & ldquo; management tools & rdquo;, there will be "Disk Cleanup" (Note: If you can use the first method to open the disk cleanup, in the "management tools", here can not find the disk cleanup) .

Open the disk cleanup, it will start scanning, after the scan, the following dialog box pops up:

Select to clean the system file, then it will scan again, after scanning In the following area, find the previous Windows installation > and check it, then click OK.

Second, modify the disk (volume) size

Right click in the lower left corner of the desktop, select Disk Management.

Right-click on the volume you want to expand/compress (it cannot be expanded if there are no unallocated disks)

Select the volume and compression size to be compressed in this tab, after compression , you can assign it to another volume.

Note: Only adjacent quotas can be merged, that is, the quota between the D drive and the E drive can only be assigned to the D drive or the E drive, but not to the F drive (assuming the computer There are C, D, E, F, G… … disks, and in alphabetical order).

Third, change the boot

Open the control panel, click on the management tool, find "System Configuration" in it, after opening, you can modify the system boot in the pop-up tab, as shown below :

In addition to the "Boots" tab, “General”,“Services  is also very useful, friends can open it and see.
