How can win8 not connect to wireless network

If you are unable to connect to a wireless network, first try to update the drivers for your wireless device. See win8 how to find the hardware driver.

Make sure your wireless router is set up correctly. See instructions for setting up your wireless router.

If you still can't connect, make sure the wireless connection is turned on:

1. On the start screen, tap or click “Control Panel”.

2. In the left pane, tap or click "Wireless".

3. In the right pane, verify that “flight mode" is turned off and <;wireless device" is turned on.

4. Slide in from the right or point your mouse at the bottom right or top right corner of the screen to open “Settings"

5. Click or click the network connection icon, which looks like a monitor with a network cable (for wired connections) or a collection with five bars (for wireless connections).

6. Under the list of wireless networks, select your network and enter the required login or credential information to connect to the network.
