How to set up win8 to make the network disk better?

Windows 8 has a built-in Skydrive network drive, but after installing Windows 8 and Office 2013, you may find that the Skydrive Pro 2013 right-click menu is not available, and Skydrive cannot easily send backup data via the right button. How to solve?

Resurrection Skydrive Pro right-click option

If you find that the Skydrive Pro 2013 right-click menu is grayed out and cannot be selected, you can find the SPFS.ContextMenu key in the registry [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTAllFilesystemObjectsshell], in the right window Double-click CommandStateHandler in the cell to delete its initial value {573FFD05-2805-47C2-BCE0-5F19512BEB8D} to null and click "OK". At this time, the gray option of the right-click menu SkyDrive Pro is activated, but its sub-options are still grayed out.

At this time, we just need to enter [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerCommandStoreshell], we will see the 4 keys of SPFS. In the right pane of each key, double-click the CommandStateHandler string to delete the value to empty. Activate the SkyDrive Pro sub-option button all.

Enable SkyDrive Right Backup File

Although Windows 8 has integrated SkyDrive, backup is not convenient enough. If you add the "Send to -SkyDrive" option in the right-click menu, you can easily send the file with the right-click command at any time.

Search to find the SkyDrive folder under the current user and create a shortcut.

Start the Run window with the Win + R key combination, execute the SHELL:SENDTO command, and open the “SendTo” folder.

Copy the shortcut of the SkyDrive folder you just created to this folder.

After that, right click on the file (or folder) to save the file or folder to your SkyDrive.
