Every time you start the system, the word "STARTING ONTRACK..." will appear next to a blue box:

starting ontrack

This will appear every time you start the system: "STARTING ONTRACK...” Then a blue box reads: “Dynamic Drive Overlay(DDO)v9.57 partner5.0 Copyright(c)ONTRACK Data International.Inc.1993-2002 Copyright(c)cheng YI.http: //Z80.yeah.com 1996-2004 ”, then there is a paragraph of white English: “press spacebar to boot from diskette or press C to boot from CD-COM”

a self-installed system or a computer
store?

The reason why this problem occurs is because before installing the system, your hard disk uses a partitioning software called DM when partitioning.

This is the DM partition loaded with DM. With ONTRACK driver (old motherboard, W95 era supports large hard disk). The driver rewrites the hard disk MBR and takes over INT13

Workaround:

.Run DM-----Clear the DM-loaded ONTRACK driver! ! ! The details are as follows:

(A)dvanced Options --> (M)aintenance Options --> (D)ynamic Drive Overlay --> (R)emove Dynamic Drive Overlay

The sign of successful removal is that the blue DDO boot message no longer appears when booting from the hard disk.

If you know the computer, just go to the boot CD with DM software and do it yourself. If you don't understand, please Give your installed technicians to solve.

Friendly reminder: If you are not very familiar with this, don't try it anyway, otherwise all the data on your computer's hard disk will be completely covered! !
