Make full use of IE's tracking protection function to shield floating windows, pop-up windows and other advertisements

The Internet is more and more developed, and it has become a weapon for people to make money. Many websites do not consider the user's experience for advertising expenses. I don't mean that they can't advertise. After all, the website itself has to survive. However, some websites display advertisements far beyond our tolerance. When clicking the web link, they still have to Pop up an ad page first, then click once to open the page you want to view. This is also the purpose of my tutorial
.

Working principle

The original intention of this function is not to filter advertisements, but to help users avoid the tracking behavior of third-party websites. But it also means that the feature can block third-party ad tags served by the site.

Operation steps

Start IE browser, open a website page, see the advertisement, we have to block it.

Click the gear button in the upper right, Tool-Security--Tracking Protection Options.

The Manage Add-ons screen pops up. Click on the Tracking Protection option in the Load Type to see that the Personal List is disabled. Let's enable it first, then click Settings.

The personal tracking protection list interface pops up, check the automatic blocking, you can see that the status has been changed to blocked, OK.

Click on the link below “ChinaList+EasyList”, click on “Add List” in the pop-up dialog box.

Add TPL: ChinaList+EasyList

Refresh the interface or open other webpages, see, the ads are gone, and we have a clean page.
