How to turn off system partition restore function for Windows 7 system

7 system restore function is to ensure system security, such as the system information that the user has previously backed up will be saved in the disk, if it is not closed, it will occupy the disk space, the following teaches you to turn off the system restore function Save user disk space!

Operation steps

The user selects “computer' on the desktop'; right click “property".


Open the “System” window and click on the left side of “Advanced System Settings”.


Pop-up "System Properties" Click "<quo;System Protection"; users can see that the C drive's restore protection is turned on! We then click the “Configure” button.


The default setting in "Restore Settings" is "Restore System Settings and Previous Versions of Files", "Disk Space Usage" is "2.15G&rdquo" ;


We will select "Restore Settings" as "Close System Protection" and click “Delete”.


A pop-up dialog box prompts "Whether the user revokes the previous version of the file for this drive" > select “Continue”.


The dialog box that pops up prompts the user to "delete these restore points successfully" by clicking ""Close".


Then set the "Maximum usage" under "Disk space usage" to “1%"click" apply”.


At this point, "User disables system protection on this drive" is clicked. Click "“Yes".


Finally, we can see that the C drive protection function has been turned off. If the user's other drive letter is also enabled, the protection function can be turned off in the same way. (Save disk space after shutdown)
