Windows Media Player media library file

cannot be added under Windows 7 system

There is a strange problem, no matter what method is used, there is no way to add files to Win7's Windows
Meida Player media library. How to do? This situation mostly means that the data files of the Media Player are out of order and need to be rebuilt.

Operating Procedures

Close Windows Media Player. Type “services.msc” in the Start Search box and press Enter.

If the User Account Control window pops up, please allow to continue.

Find those services that start with Windows Media Player. If the status is “Started", right-click and select “Stop”.

Enter the path %USERPROFILE%\\Local Settings\\Application Data\\Microsoft in the address bar, press Enter, and open. Find and right click on the folder Windows Media and select “Rename”. You can arbitrarily name this folder, such as Windows Media Old.

When you open Windows Media Player again, a Windows Media folder is automatically rebuilt, as shown in the following image.
