How to delete the Thumbs.db file in the Win10 system?

  

In the Win10 system, there are many files that are hidden and cannot be seen. They can only be seen after setting the display system files and hidden files. When cleaning up the system files, we will find a hidden file named thumbs.db. However, we don't know what file thumbnails.db is, or whether it can be deleted. In fact, the thumbs.db file is the image cache file under the Win10 folder, which can be deleted. We need to make simple settings in the group policy editing. Let's get to know it!

1. Under the Win10 system, press and hold the keyboard's “Win+R” combination shortcut key, the system will open the “Run” dialog dialog window. As shown in the figure;

2, enter the “gpedit.msc” command in the open run command dialog box, and then click the “OK” button. As shown in the figure;

3, after clicking the OK button, this time will open the "local group policy editor" dialog window, as shown;

4. In the small window on the left side of the Local Group Policy Editor window, expand the “User Configuration-->Management Template-->Windows Component" option. As shown in the figure;

5, in the "Windows Components" option right window, find the "File Explorer" option and double-click the left mouse button to open it. As shown in the figure;

6, go to the file explorer, find “ close the thumbnail cache in the hidden thumbs.db file & quo; and double-click the left mouse button to open it. As shown in the figure;

7, in the "Thumbnail Cache in the Closed Thumbs.db File" dialog box, open its settings to "ld"; Enabled" Options, then click on the "Apply--> OK” button to exit. As shown;
