In addition, the WIndows 10 development Build will also open the winmain_rtm branch. The candidate RTM version will be generated from this phase and handed over to the “Sign-OFF” test, which will eventually produce the official RTM version.

The so-called Escrow, that is, most of the current version of the software has been frozen, the next development work will focus on the complete function, the resolution of known problems.

The winmain_rtm branch is a version that is stable and has been tested for integration. This is relative to the currently publicly available version (fbl branch, Feature Build Labs).

The so-called, Sign-OFF, that is, when a build version can be used as the official version of RTM, Microsoft puts it into the intranet "Sign-OFF" candidate folder for each group to test, if Without a major bug, it will be designated as the Sign-OFF version. Then wait for the Microsoft executive to approve, this version is determined to be the official version of RTM.
