How to add a printer to the winxp system?

  

A lot of female colleagues at work didn't add printers. Later, I left the company. I was worried that no one would help them get the printer, and the online tutorial was cumbersome for girls. The following process is personal for me. The simplest and most convenient of the many methods. Please read below for details!

1. First, we are going to check the name of the A computer that has shared the printer.

1) Desktop - My Computer - Right mouse button - Properties (shown in Figure 1)

2). Default is regular - click on the computer name - here you see the name of the computer For: office printer, the working group is: Workgroup (as shown in Figure 2)


2, secondly, we have to go to the B computer where we need to add the printer, turn on the B computer, even network! (As shown)

3. Furthermore, we open the network neighborhood on the desktop of the B computer and find the computer of the A computer. The steps are as follows:

1) Online Leadership - Right mouse button - Pop up Workgroup - Click on the left view of the workgroup computer - see B computer office printer - double click to open it (as shown)

4, Next, in the new window popped up by B computer, double-click the printer to confirm the installation! The steps are as follows:

1.) Office printer (window) - HPLaserJet (double click) - Connect to the printer (Yes) --- (as shown in Figure 1)

2.) Connect the printer Success (popup window as shown in Figure 2)


5, then, if you have multiple printers, when you print the file, you have to repeatedly select this printer, then We set this printer as the default printer. The steps are as follows:

1) Start - Printer and Fax

2) HPLaserJet (Right click) - Printing Preferences.


6. Finally, let's print a test page. Let us be excited for a little while. as the picture shows.

1) HPLaserJet (right click) - print test page - OK

2) You will wait in front of the printer with excitement, congratulations!
