Win10 genuine for Win10.1 or will be released in October 2016 to upgrade

2015 is about halfway through, and Windows 10 is not far from its official release of summer time. However, before the release of the next-generation operating system, Microsoft has begun the first major update after the official version of Windows 10. A recent anonymous Russian WZor who was responsible for tracking Windows internal news revealed some details about the first update of Windows 10 on Twitter.

Wzor said that the first major update for Windows 10 will be in 2016 (believe everyone knows this), but the exact time to push will have to wait until October (next year). The reason is simple, because for many years, Microsoft has always liked to choose October as the release date for the important version of Windows.

It must be said that Wzor's broke the news seems reasonable. After all, Windows 7 and Windows 8 officially debuted in October. It is rumored that Windows 10 mobile version may be officially released in October this year. As for the PC version of Windows 10, the real big release date is expected to be in July or August this year.

The first major update or call it Windows 10.1

Microsoft has confirmed that Windows 10 will be the last stand-alone version of Windows, and that the future computer will run Windows instead of a specific release. The Windows,  version" concept will no longer be used for the operating system. Therefore, any subsequent upgrades of new features and performance improvements should be done in a small version with continuous updates and at a faster pace.

So, Wzor also said that the 2016 new Windows 10 upgrade will be called Windows 10.1. In other words, if every major update is released at the rhythm of “0.1”, the next big update, Windows 10.2, should debut in 2017, with Windows 10.3 in 2018 and 2019 in 10.19.

In fact, a few months ago there was a message about the subsequent upgrade of Windows 10. At the time, two media, Neowin and ZDNet, broke the same news, claiming that Microsoft's first major upgrade code for Windows 10 was Redstone, which was split into two waves for push in 2016. The first wave of small update push time was 6. In the month, the second wave of major updates will have to wait until October.

The time point of Wzor broke the news is basically the same, which indicates that the message has certain reliability. As for the updated content, it has not been verified. The big update will definitely not only fix the bug and incremental improvement, it is said that it is big. The update will allow Windows to support more new categories of hardware, possibly with support for wearables. Also note that both updates will provide an upgrade for all Windows 10 devices for free.
