Win10 native support video plug-in independent subtitle file format including common SRT, SSA, ASS

Now, Gabrel Aul, director of the Windows Insider beta project, confirmed that Windows 10 will natively support video plug-in independent subtitle files in the form of common SRT, SSA, ASS.

As a result, subtitle loading tools such as VSFilter can rest, and MKV format support complements each other and complement each other.

But in the current preview version, the MKV format is already playable, and the external subtitle function has not been enabled yet. It is estimated that Microsoft is still improving.
