Microsoft officially announced that Win10 supports NFC mobile payment technology HCE

  

At Microsoft's recent WinHEC conference in Shenzhen, Microsoft officially announced that Windows 10 mobile devices equipped with NFC will support wireless payment functions, and Microsoft will enter the mobile payment field. According to foreign media Windows Central, the payment technology used in Windows 10 is called Host Card Emulation (HCE), which wirelessly transmits user's payment information through NFC near field communication technology for mobile payment. According to reports, US credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, and American Express will cooperate with Microsoft.

Before, Microsoft's WP platform already has application card Softcard launched a "Tap to Pay" payment application that supports NFC payment. Due to the acquisition by Google, the mobile payment service of WP platform was forced to end. For retailers, the Android 4.4 KitKat system and above can also support HCE technology, and the compatibility of this technology may allow a large number of vendors to follow up. With the addition of Microsoft, the competition for mobile payment platforms has become increasingly fierce.
