Drop WinPE using DISKPART partition method

Since Windows Vista's operating system, if you use the partitioning feature that comes with Windows when you install the system, you will have a 100M system reserved partition. This will make a physical hard disk, which can be divided into up to 4 primary partitions, and can only be divided into 3 now. Because of this problem, I have been using WinPE to partition and format the disk before installing the system. WinPE does not recognize SATA disks, so you must go to the BIOS to change to the IDE before entering WinPE. The whole process is very troublesome. Recently, because of the use of SSD solid state drives, when learning 4K aligned partitions, I accidentally discovered a partition command DISKPART that comes with Windows. With this command, partitioning during installation can be achieved without 100M reserved partitions. , do not need to change SATA /IDE, and the default 4K alignment, can be described as a partition weapon. Here are a few simple commands for DISKPART. How to enter DISKPART? Very simple, just in the process of installing Windows, when you reach the partition interface, use the shortcut key shift + F10 and shout "Sesame Open Door" to open the command line mode, then type DISKPART Enter. Common commands (in my order of use)

List all disks: LIST DISK List all partitions of the current disk: LIST PARTITION

Select a disk: SELECT DISK [INDEX] Select a partition: SELECT PARTITION [INDEX] The parameter INDEX refers to the sequence number of the partition, starting from 0;

Clear all partition information of the current disk: CLEAN

Create a new partition: CREATE PARTITION [PRIMARY] [SIZE =102400] The parameter PRIMARY refers to the creation of a primary partition, which is mentioned in the first paragraph; the parameter SIZE is the size of the specified partition, the unit M, 102400 is equal to 100G, if not specified, all the remaining capacity is used; >

Specify the current partition as the active partition: ACTIVE

Format partition: FORMAT [QUICK] The parameter QUICK refers to quick format;

Exit: EXIT is the simplest, The most commonly used DISKPART command is very practical. You only need one system U disk when installing the original system in the future. You don't need to make a WinPE. Now use EXIT to exit the command line, refresh the partition, you can see the results of the partition just, and you're done~
