Windows 8.1 and IE11 update: Navigation page has been added to the search box

On Tuesday, this month, Microsoft has routinely brought patch updates to users around the world. In terms of browsers, IE11 also ushered in some new features. To be most obvious, this should be the search bar (the Chrome browser should be familiar). It should be noted that this update seems to be only for IE 11.0.13 on Windows 8.1 x64. For users who have installed Windows 10 Technology Preview, you may not be able to see this update.

The above picture is a new interface brought by IE11 for Windows 8.1 x64 update.

The picture above shows the interface of the old IE11 browser.

According to the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base, this update also brings the following changes:

· history and favorite groups are no longer displayed in the list of suggestions in the address bar.

· For some queries, only a few web suggestions may be available. However, for other, more ambiguous queries, more suggestions are displayed.

·Do not show domain name suggestions that have not been visited.

Although this change is not large, it does make search easier. For Chrome or Firefox users, this improvement of IE11 is also very gratifying.
