How to do it by using the chkdsk command to retrieve the lost disk cluster of the

Win7 system under the Win7 system? How to recover? The definition and principle of a cluster is the smallest physical storage unit of a disk. Since there are too many sectors in a disk, the cluster is extracted for ease of management. A file is usually stored in one or more clusters, but at least one cluster is occupied separately. A cluster can only hold one file, even if the file has only 0 bytes, it will never allow two files or more than two files to share a cluster, otherwise it will cause data confusion. The reason for the loss of the cluster on the disk, the abnormal termination of the program or the abnormal shutdown of the operating system may cause the loss of the disk cluster, resulting in a reduction in space. Solution: You can retrieve it with the chkdsk command. Take the cluster in the E disk as an example. The specific steps are as follows: 1. Click “Start”, enter cmd.exe in the search box, and press the Enter key, as shown in Figure 1: Figure 1 begins Search box cmd.exe
2. In the open cmd.exe program window, type chkdsk E:/f and press Enter, as shown in Figure 2: Figure 2 Enter the command
3. As shown in Figure 3, the clusters on the E disk and related results are being verified. Figure 3 Recovery and completion of the cluster recovery
PS: If the disk to be retrieved is being used, the above operation will not be performed. Enter the message “Y”Y” after the prompt message appears, and forcefully unmount the volume and press Press the Enter key, and the verification file and folder will be automatically started. After the verification is completed, you can view the related results and close the cmd.exe window.
