Quick access to the folder in the system. The two methods

folder is one of the most intimate partners in our daily application computer. If you can quickly access the folder you need when you need it, you will save a lot of time. The following are two killing tips for quick access to the folder when I use the computer every day:

The first trick: make full use of the Windows taskbar;

In Win98 (included) and later versions, Windows' taskbar has become more flexible, and making full use of the Windows taskbar will simplify many of our work. Take Win2000 as an example. Right-click on the taskbar and select “Toolbar/New Toolbar” from the pop-up menu. In the folder input box, you can enter frequently accessed folders. I use the default value of "My Documents." ;

At this point in the Windows taskbar will appear a toolbar with the name of the folder you selected, you can quickly move the positioning by clicking the "arrow" button next to the name Go to the folder you need and open the target file. If you want to open a folder, you can do so by double-clicking or right-clicking on the pop-up menu. ;

When you think that this toolbar is very space-consuming on the taskbar, you can also drag this toolbar to any position on the desktop, usually by leaning to the side, and then from here. Select "Front Display" and "Auto Hide" in the right-click menu of the toolbar. When we need it, just click the mouse to the side where the toolbar is located, the toolbar will automatically pop up for you to perform the corresponding operation. When you don't need it, move the mouse away from the side where the toolbar is located. The bar will be automatically hidden and convenient. You can create multiple similar toolbars as needed. ;

But if you have a small screen space, creating multiple toolbars will affect other operations and will not pay off. Is there a best-in-class way to set up multiple folders and save the taskbar or screen space? You can create shortcuts to other folders in one folder so that when you create a toolbar for that folder, you can quickly access other required folders through shortcuts. ;

Second trick: Use Access Folder to quickly switch to the desired directory in the "Open/Save" dialog box;

Opening and saving files is often necessary The operation, sometimes in order to save the file to a specific folder, can be described as painstakingly, double-clicking on it to reach the destination, it is really tired! The appearance of Access Folder perfectly solves this " Difficulty, it is tightly integrated with the Open, Save File dialog box to quickly locate the desired folder. ;

The software can be downloaded from http://nj.onlinedown.net/ACCESSFOLDERS.HTM. ;

The author is using version 1.51. To use the software to serve yourself, you must first add a target folder to let the software "know it." After the software is started, a “folder” icon will appear in the task bar on the right. Select “Settings” from the right-click menu of the icon to display the setting dialog box. In the Folder page, add the folder you want to quickly switch to via the “Add” button. You can only set up to 5 unregistered versions. ;

After setting up, you can experience the unique martial arts of the software. When we open and save the file, in the dialog box for opening and saving the file, right-click the question mark icon button in the upper right corner to pop up a menu. The bottom item of the menu is “Settings”. After execution, the setting dialog will be opened. The folder defined by us is listed above “Settings”. Each menu item corresponds to a folder. Click with the left mouse button. Menu items can quickly enter the corresponding folder, is it convenient? ;

The software also has a stunt, that is, when we click the taskbar icon button with the left mouse button, a menu of folder list can also be popped up, and the menu item can be selected. Go directly to the appropriate folder via "My Computer" or "Explorer".
