Fight against malware! Win10 will add "device protection" function

Computer Store News: Microsoft today announced more details on the increased security offered to Windows 10 business users, including a feature called Device Guard. The feature locks the device when it detects malware.

Microsoft explained:

In order to protect users from malware, once an application is executed, Windows will trust the application. Judging, if the application is not trustworthy, it will remind the user. “Device Guard” can use hardware technology and virtualization technology to isolate decision-making functions from the Windows operating system, effectively protecting devices and preventing attackers or malware from gaining full access to the system.

Compared to traditional anti-virus and application protection methods such as AppLocker (application lock) and Bit9, "Device Guard" will show its obvious advantages.

At present, a large number of PC manufacturers including Hewlett-Packard, Lenovo and Acer are planning to support the "Device Guard" function in Windows 10. Microsoft also plans to provide Windows PC biometric security identification and Microsoft Passport login capabilities for business PC users.
