Unique to this application is the HDR (High Dynamic Range) image synthesis processing, which can be installed on all Lumia models.

HDR is an imaging technique that preserves the details of highlights and shadows by combining two or more shots taken at different exposures, that is, the dark part becomes brighter and brighter The part will be darkened, the light and dark will tend to be more balanced, and the light level will be richer, which is suitable for high-contrast subjects.

4Blend HDR uses its own special algorithm to analyze changes in light, generate perfect pixels, and then automatically apply a filter to each layer of the image to produce the final image.

The application developer Sebastiano Galazzo said:

I started researching this HDR algorithm almost 15 years ago. The process is not easy. I have to save the pocket money to buy ice cream to support it. Own research.

My dad gave me a traditional camera when I was 12 years old, and I have an interest in photography since then. Almost at that time, I got a Commodore 64 computer and I found my real interest. Being able to create new things with my computer makes me very fulfilled.

In 2003, I obtained a bachelor's degree in computer science and then moved to Milan to start research and development of search engines and artificial intelligence software. In 2010, I started to develop applications on various Nokia platforms. In 2012, I started to participate in the developer competition and won some honors (Nokia Developer Champion). Usually I am a full-time software engineer, and the application is to stay up all night or in my spare time.
