Microsoft WP8.1 flagship see in November, with 3D suspension touch

Computer shop news: Previously @WP Home reported the Nokia WP8.1 new machine plan, codenamed McLaren, Rock, Tesla, Superman and so on. Rock is T-Mobile and cricket version of Lumia 530. Tesla and Superman are operators' AT&T and Verizon mid-range phones. The Verge revealed that Superman has a 4.7-inch screen with 5 megapixels in front.

& ldquo;McLaren” and 3D Touch

According to @evleaks, this is Microsoft's fall flagship model, Christmas season shipments, AT&T, Verizon and T -Mobile will release this new machine.

McLaren is actually a previous Goldfinger, or just a carrier. Indeed, the next generation flagship is no longer AT&T monopoly, McLaren/Goldfinger will be released in November, as you would expect, a high-end WP8.1 mobile phone covered by the entire operator will come.

Other mobile phones such as RM964, RM965, RM1001, and RM1002 are unknown.

McLaren/Goldfinger configuration specifications, you do not have to worry, more importantly, will be equipped with 3D Touch technology. The Verge editor Tom Warren said the technology will be released in November. The Samsung Galaxy S4 uses a front-facing camera to sense motion, which is obviously not practical, just a gimmick. True hovering touch is definitely done with specialized, custom hardware.

How McLaren implements floating touch is unknown, but everyone knows the Kinect technology on Microsoft Xbox, including new gesture APIs, interactions, heat maps, and more. Regardless of whether you believe it or not, some APIs are already in the SDK, just hidden. This means that 3D floating controls can be used in third-party applications, which also means that Microsoft will show third-party 3D floating controls at the press conference.

So is the 3D suspension control a gimmick? It depends on the developer and how it works. Development is slow because of the need for hardware technology. Microsoft has been working on this, and there are already prototypes.

What can I do with 3D Touch?

The coolest is "Mix View" (mixed view). You are on the start screen, above the tile, floating sweep or click. The tile will switch. For example, the following concept map.

Jumping

So far, Microsoft is still catching up with competitors. The Windows Phone 8.1 system is now close to iOS and Android devices. Goldfinger/McLaren's specific 3D floating touch will fully surpass the opponent in software and hardware. However, in the coming weeks, Amazon's smartphones are said to have 3D gestures, but Amazon is also facing competition from other vendors.

Finally, no matter what Goldfinger/McLaren is, we will look forward to this year's fall, look forward to the next 3D hovering touch function, and hope to go well.
