Microsoft's new CEO candidate list is reduced by

  

Computer store news: According to Reuters news, Microsoft continues to reduce the list of new CEO candidates, among which five outside candidates include Ford CEO Alan Mulally and former Nokia CEO Stephen Elop ( Elop will also return to Microsoft after Microsoft acquires Nokia's device and services division. The names of other CEO external candidates are not known, but Microsoft is looking for a committee that is still interviewing other executives, including companies in the life sciences and consumer sectors.


There are at least three Microsoft internal candidates, including former Skype CEO Tony Bates (Microsoft Business Development, Strategy and Evangelism Executive Vice President), Cloud and Enterprise Executive Vice President Satya Nadella and 1 unknown Microsoft executive.

According to Reuters sources, Microsoft may still need to "determine a new CEO for a few months". In late August, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer announced that he would retire within a year.
