The daily trading volume of the WP platform exceeded 9 million

Computer store news: Microsoft announced on Friday that the Windows Phone platform application and application in-app purchase daily trading volume has exceeded 9 million. At the same time, the company has also adjusted its developer policy to pay developers without waiting for the operator to make a payment.

Prior to this, Microsoft had to wait until the operator completed the settlement before paying the corresponding fee to the developer. But the company found that the move would result in an average payment time of 120 days or more, so it decided to adjust the policy: all transactions completed by the operator can be paid in 30 days.

Microsoft said that in a market where operators can use the billing system, Windows Phone developers can increase their average revenue per active user by a factor of three, while in emerging markets with low credit card usage, this number will Up to 6 times. This feature has been pushed to 26 countries and regions, but Microsoft also hopes to expand to more regions as soon as possible.

Microsoft also pointed out on Friday that the company’s advertising department recently partnered with several third-party networks to introduce more ads to the Windows Phone platform. At the end of the month, Microsoft's advertising department will also provide UDIDs to third-party ad networks on the Windows Phone platform, but such UDIDs will not be associated with the user's personal information.

Microsoft said that UDID is only to ensure the relevance of advertising. If Windows Phone users are concerned, this targeted ad can be turned off via choice.microsoft.com.

Microsoft hopes to increase the downloads and purchases of apps through the above adjustments.
