Windows Intune 2.0 official version released in October

The Internet has revealed that Microsoft has said that the official version of cloud computing PC management and security protection tool Windows Intune 2.0 will be released on October 17.

Existing Windows Intune customers will be automatically upgraded within a few weeks of the official release of 2.0, eliminating the need for manual operations. However, Windows Intune 2.0 Beta users will no longer be able to use it, and all account information will be deleted. Therefore, Windows Intune 2.0 customers must uninstall the test client software before October 17 to save the data to avoid unnecessary losses.

Windows Intune is a cloud computing PC management and security tool from Microsoft. Windows Intune 2.0 began testing in July this year, and the new version simplifies software distribution and upgrades, making it easy to manage all software licenses and simplifying hardware reporting.

Windows Intune is available in multiple countries and regions. Each PC costs $11 per month. Users can get cloud computing management services, anti-virus software, and Windows 7 Enterprise Edition upgrade licenses. Windows Intune is aimed at small and medium-sized business users and can provide management and security services for Windows PCs through the network front end. Traditional such software requires local server support, but Windows Intune is a cloud computing service hosted by Microsoft servers that eliminates server configuration costs for the enterprise.

Windows Intune is ideal for managing 25 to 500 desktop PCs for patch management, malware protection, PC proactive monitoring, remote assistance, tracking hardware and software catalogs, and security policy enforcement. Windows Intune cloud computing services not only help users save the hassle of deploying hardware, but also get timely updates. Management of other machines from any machine can be achieved by networking.
