The number of Windows Store apps has exceeded 80,000 mark

Computer Store News: Microsoft released the official number of the Windows 8 application market, with 70,000 apps already available from the store, and less than a month later, this number has increased by 10,000, provided by third-party MetroStore scanning sites. The number of data shows that the number of applications has reached 80,302. This includes a large number of official applications developed by Microsoft itself, as well as applications from development organizations around the world.

Later this year, Windows 8.1 will also be added to the app store for free upgrades for all Win8 users, along with new apps for version 8.1.
