Nokia and Microsoft jointly update the Saipan Bella operating system

  

Today, Nokia announced that it will update the Symbian Belle operating system that has just been released, that is, the series of smartphones equipped with Saipan Bella will have strong mobile office capabilities. Microsoft ®Apps will bring Microsoft's suite of office suites as a free app for compatible Nokia smartphones, and fully enhance the security and management capabilities of Symbeira without the need for additional hardware. According to C114, Microsoft Apps will be updated for the first time in the fourth quarter of 2011, and Saipan users will be able to experience more updates in early 2012. Microsoft Apps will provide a number of support and office applications for Symbian Bella including Microsoft® Lync™ 2010 Mobile, Microsoft OneNote™, Microsoft PowerPoint®Broadcast and Microsoft Document Connection (providing Microsoft SharePoint permissions), and will be upgraded in the first half of 2012 For the first time, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are implemented on the mobile platform outside the Windows platform. According to Nokia, users can download Microsoft Apps via wireless software upgrade or connect to a personal computer. Nokia N8, Nokia C7, Nokia C6-01, Nokia E7, Nokia E6, Nokia X7, Nokia 700, Nokia 701, Nokia 600 and Nokia Oro Both will support this update. In addition, Nokia is working with Microsoft to provide mobile terminal management for Symbian Bella terminals through Microsoft®2012 System Center Configuration Manager (Microsoft® System Center Configuration Manager 2012).
