Optimize the system, let mobile devices read and write as fast as lightning

USB interface is connected to all data transmission, with the convenient use of mobile hard disk, now everyone has more and more storage devices. The increase in the number of working documents, the speed of transferring files has gradually become a topic of concern to everyone. In fact, without changing the device, cleverly setting your system can increase the speed you want.

Step Setup:

1. Insert the mobile device into the USB port, right-click on "My Computer" and select "Attributes", then click on the "Hardware" tab. & ldquo;Device Manager” button.

2. Expand the “Disk Drive” item in the hardware list and double-click the “USB-DISK” option to open its properties panel.

3. Switch to the "Policy" tab, you can see that Windows defaults to "Optimize for Quick Delete", now we change it to "Optimized for performance" & rdquo ;

Note: The above settings are to enable the write cache in Windows to improve disk performance. It should be noted here that in order to disconnect the mobile device from the computer in the future, you must use the secure delete hardware function, because the data is written to the cache, so when disconnecting the device from the computer, you can not choose “Optimize for quick deletion”, you can directly plug and unplug the mobile storage device, and you must click the Safely Remove Hardware icon in the notification area of the taskbar, otherwise your mobile device may be damaged.

Principle Analysis:

After the setting of step 3 above, the option is defaulted to “optimize for fast deletion”, then all data is directly written to the mobile storage device. And the "Optimize for performance" option is to write data to the cache to improve disk performance. Therefore, the latter's reading and writing speed will be faster.
