What is MUI?
MUI is a multi-language user interface package: MUI provides a version that has been translated for most user interfaces, and MUI is only used in Windows Vista Ultimate and Windows Vista Enterprise.
Another language interface package is LIP, Language Interface Pack (LIP): Windows Vista LIP provides a version of the most widely used part of the translated user interface. LIP is available for free download from the Microsoft website, and most LIPs can be installed and used on any version of Windows Vista. Because not all user interfaces are translated, LIP requires at least one "parent language." The portion of the user interface that is not translated into the LIP language is displayed in the parent language. When you download LIP, you are provided with the parent language requirements for the language. You need to install the parent language pack before you can install LIP.
The Windows Vista Multilingual User Interface Pack (MUI) is now available, so it can only be installed in Windows Vista Ultimate and Windows Vista Enterprise. Users who have previously installed the English version do not have to re-install the Chinese version. You can become a bilingual system by installing this Chinese language pack. You can also become a multi-language system by installing other language packs~~
Vista RTM can be downloaded via Windows Update. Language package files, these download addresses have disappeared once, Microsoft has also explained this matter. However, I don't know why these language packs will disappear after installing Vista SP1. If you need them, you can download them directly from these addresses.
